Mumbai cricketer and Kings X1 batsman Sarfaraz Khan has distributed food packets to migrant workers in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The 22-year-old Sarfaraz, who hails from Azamgarh, was seen distributing food packets and water bottles with his father and brother. sThe triple centurion from Mumbai  had gone to visit his native village in March when he got stuck there due to the nationwide lockdown. “When we used to go to the market, we use to see scores of people travelling on the roads. And hence we decided to help them. It was my father’s idea to help the migrant workers,”

Meanwhile, the family revealed that they have decided not to celebrate Eid this year and use those funds in helping migrant workers. The batsman has been a popular name in the domestic circuit. The youngster had a terrific season with Mumbai this year as he scored a  a triple century last season of Ranji Trophy.  Later, in February, he smashed 177 against Madhya Pradesh in India’s premier domestic first-class tournament.
