Former Pakistan player Shahid Afridi has been tested positive for coronavirus in Pakistan. Afridi is the second Pakistan cricketer to test positive for COVID-19. The former all-rounder took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. The destructive batsman has been actively involved in charity work amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The former Pakistan skipper has helped thousands of poor with ration and other essential supplies over the past couple of months. 

Taking to his Twitter Afridi confirmed about his illness saying, "I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah," he wrote on Twitter. A number of his fans soon took to social media, to wish Afridi a speedy recovery.
