Aamir Khan tests COVID-19 positive, shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha put on hold

Aamir Khan has tested positive for coronavirus, the update was shared by the actor's official spokesperson. Aamir's spokesperson stated, "Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern." According to a Pinkvilla report, the Mangal Panday star is in  home quarantine.

He has also informed his staff to take the test, to take all the necessary precautions and follow all the guidelines. He will resume shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha after he completely recovers." The actor was recently in the news after he quit social media. A day after his birthday, Aamir announced via his social media pages that he is quitting the platform once for all. The superstar penned, "Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. Lots of love, always."
