After Shravan Rathod, veteran actor Lalit Behl dies of COVID-19

Veteran actor, director, and producer Lalit Behl died of COVID-19 at the age of 72. Actor Adil Hussain took to Twitter and shared the tragic news on social media. He wrote: “Extremely saddened by the demise of one of my dearest and most respected Co-actors, Lalit Behl jee. Who, so brilliantly played the father in @MuktiBhawan! I feel the loss of my father again! Dear Kanu I am so very sorry for your loss!” Lalit Behl is survived by his wife, actor Navnindra Behl, Kanu Behl, his daughter-in-law, music composer Sneha Khanwalkar and their son Dunya.
He made his big-screen debut in his son Kanu Behl’s own first film Titli in 2014.  

Lalit Behl’s wife Navnindra Behl is also a theatre and television director, writer, and actor. She has acted with filmmakers of high repute such as Gulzar (Maachis, 1996), Dibakar Banerjee (Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!), Vishal Bhardwaj (Gubaare) and Hollywood projects like The Pride and The Guru. The entertainment industry has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was only yesterday, that composer Shravan Rathod, of popular music director duo Nadeem-Shravan, died at the age of 66 due to COVID. Shravan Rathod and Nadeem Saifi composed some of the biggest music tracks in the Nineties. They composed music for the 1990 musical Aashiqui, which became an instant hit. They also composed music for popular films like Saajan (1991), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Pardes (1997) and Raja Hindustani (1996), among others.
