Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb director donates 3 crore for COVID-19 reliefx

Actor-director Raghava Lawrence, who is also helming Akshay Kumar in Laxmmi Bomb, has signed Chandramukhi 2. Taking to social media, Lawrence announced that he will be donating Rs 3 crore from his advance salary to coronavirus relief funds. Raghava Lawrence revealed that he will be contributing Rs 50 lakh each to PM-CARES Fund and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The remaining amount will be donated to FEFSI, Dancer's Union, daily wage workers and physically disabled children in Royapuram, Chennai.

"50 lakhs to the PM - CARES fund, 50 Lakhs to CM relief Fund (Tamil Nadu), 50 lakhs for fefsi union and I want to extend my special contribution of 50 lakhs for my dancer’s union and 25 lakhs for my physical abled boys and 75 lakhs for daily labour’s and for people from my birth place Royapuram, desiyanagar. All food essentials will be delivered with the help of police with proper safety. Service is god (sic)," he posted on Facebook. Meanwhile, the actor and fimmaker also announced that he has signed Chandramukhi 2. The film will be directed by P Vasu. Director P Vasu had directed Chandramukhi in 2005, which starred Rajinikanth, Jyotika and Nayanthara. The movie was a monumental success at the box-office.
