Amitabh Bachchan confirms he is not in isolation for coronavirus

Amidst the growing  cases of coronavirus in the country Bollywood celebs have been continously spread the word on social media. Recently megastar Amitabh Bachchan was in the news as they were rumors of Big B being in home quarantine. It all started after the veteran actor shared a picture of a hand with the 'home quarantined' stamp. It is a new measure to determine a 14-day isolation for the person. After his tweet went viral news emerged that Amitabh has been home quarantined.

However, clarifying on the same Big B shared on his blog, "“So the ‘hand’ of indelible ink, that found its way on my social media became Breaking news on the Tv channels the entire day .. and concerned friends called in to give me courage and hope and determined to send me the good health bulletins each hour .. I am well .. the hand picture is of someone else .. I was merely trying to inform all that the technology is working to safe guard those quarantined to stay at home and if someone were to encounter any one with the ink mark, to tell them to isolate themselves .. it is not my hand neither is it a deliberate effort to bring malign.”

The superstar has been actively using social media to spread awareness about COVID-19. In his recent post he wrote,  “Never before have I seen the city Mumbai, in such complete silence .. suddenly you feel you are the only inhabitant of Mumbai .. be safe be in precaution and remain well.'' Speaking about the affect of coronavirus in Bollywood, almost all shootings and film releases have been stopped until further notice. The shut down is part of the precautionary measure to curb the spread of coronavirus. A number of countries have already called for a shut down and in Maharashtra malls, theatres , swimming pools, gymnasiums, schools, and colleges have been closed already.
