Coronavirus: Sachin Joshi's 36-room Mumbai hotel converted into quarantine space

Actor and businessman Sachiin Joshi has offered his Mumbai hotel to the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation  to convert it into a quarantine facility. The actor was approached by the BMC and he agreed to lend his Powai hotel, which is a 36-room property. With the help of BMC, the hotel is being used to quarantine those coming from abroad. Sachiin has also been donating food boxes to policemen and municipal staff working amidst this health scare.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan also offered his 4-storey personal office space in Mumbai for quarantine purpose. A number of celebrities have come forward and offered a helping hand for the coronavirus pandemic. Right from Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Rajnikanth, Mahesh Babu, Ranveer Singh all have pledged their support for the PM CARES fund and for the well being of the daily wages. Currently, India is under a 21-day lockdown which has been announced by PM Narendra Modi to curb the spread of coronavirus.
