Bollywood star Salman Khan became the latest celeb to get a jab of the coronavirus vaccination. Taking to Twitter, the 55-year-old actor shared, "Took my first dose of vaccine today...."The actor was captured by the paps at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday, waiting for his turn. While there were a few security personnel, no one else from his family was spotted alongside. Wearing a grey t-shirt and black denims, Salman Khan sported a black mask following the Covid-19 protocols.

On Tuesday, Salman Khan's good friend Sanjay Dutt also received the coronavirus vaccination in Mumbai. Thanking the medical staff, Dutt had tweeted a photo of himself getting the vaccine. He wrote, "Received my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine today at the BKC vaccine center. I want to congratulate Dr. Dhere and his entire team for doing such a wonderful job! I have so much love & respect for them & their hard work. Jai Hind!” Other celebs who have received the first dose of the vaccine include Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Jeetendra, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Neena Gupta and Gajaraj Rao among others. Earlier, only people above 60 years and 45+ with co-morbidities were allowed to register for the vaccine.
