Siddhant Chaturvedi in home quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19

Siddhant Chaturvedi has tested positive for Covid-19. The actor took to his Instagram story to confirm the same. "I have taken all necessary necessary precautions and followed all protocols as advised by the doctor", read his Instagram story. In the last week several celebs had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Ashish Vidyarthi had confirmed that they are going into quarantine due to Covid-19 diagnosis. After news of Ranbir Kapoor contracting the virus started doing rounds on social media, there have been reports that filmmaker director Sanjay Leela Bhansali also tested positive for the virus. However there has been no confirmation from the filmmaker.

Siddhant is currently shooting for ‘Phone Bhoot’ along with Ishaan Khatter and Katrina Kaif. Last month, Siddhant was spotted playing a badminton match with his Phone Bhoot co-star Katrina Kaif. She had posted a video from sets, in which they enjoyed the game in-between their shooting schedule in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He also features in Shakun Batra's next alongside Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. Siddhant will also be part of Ravi Udhyawar's Yudhra alongside Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal that was announced last month. He also has Bunty Aur Babli 2 lined up for release on Netflix soon. Apart from making his mark with Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, where he played the mentor and rap-star to Ranveer Singh's lead character, Siddhant has appeared in a few web series, including Inside Edge.
