many countries around the world are currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave. the second wave has crushed many country's health infrastructure and overburdened frontline medical workers. Research is underway to find drugs and preventive vaccines for this disease.

New methods are being explored to diagnose that will detect the virus. Similarly, research by scientists in France has shown that dogs investigating crime can detect whether a person is infected with the corona. Dogs that are assisting in crime investigation are trained for the power of smell. Scientists in France have found that these dogs are able to tell more accurately than the results of an RTPCR test whether someone is infected with covid.

More research is being done on this at the National Veterinary School of Alford in Paris. These dogs shown to be able to make accurate inferences about the corona infection that occurs in a person through the smell of their sweat. Rapid antigen testing takes at least 15 minutes to diagnose. Dogs are able to perform this task in a matter of minutes.

Researchers at the National Veterinary School of Alford in Paris found that, dogs are 97 percent accurate in determining whether humans have been infected with the corona because of their ability to smell. Researcher Dominic Grandzin said the human body's response to corona infection comes from its sweat and saliva which Dogs can detect by smelling.
