BJP delegations meet Koshyari, accuses MVA of failing to tackle COVID-19

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced Lockdown 4.0 in the state to curb the spread of coronavirus. The number of coronavirus cases in the state are increasing rapidly. On Monday the state crossed 35,000 mark in the covid-19 cases. 

BJP leaders on Monday met state governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in connection with the increasing number of cases in the state. The BJP delegation accused the MVA government of failing to tackle the COVID-19 crisis.

Former Chief Minister of the state and Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, along with a delegation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari at Raj Bhavan and accused the MVA government of failing to stop the spread of corona in the state. 

The BJP announced "Maharashtra Bachao" protest from Tuesday against the "complete failure" of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in tackling the COVID-19 crisis.

BJP leader said that the COVID-19 situation has gone out of hands in Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra because of the government's failure.

Fadnavis and other senior leaders, including state unit president Chandrakant Patil, and others held a video conference meeting on Monday.

Chandrakant Patil said the party leaders and workers will stand outside their houses on May 22 with placards condemning the state government's failure in mitigating the situation.
