Coronavirus: MLAs demand complete lockdown in Kalyan-Dombivli

The number of COVID-19 cases in Kalyan-Dombivli area is increasing day by day. The total number of corona patients rose to 3,000. In order to curb the rising number of cases, the MLAs have demanded re-imposition of lockdown in the city at a meeting held by the Guardian Ministers today. A lockdown of at least 10 to 15 days is required to curb the spread demanded the MLAs. 

Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde in view of the rising Coronavirus cases held a meeting at Kalyan Atre Theater which was attended by MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Shiv Sena MLA Vishwanath Bhoir, BJP MLA Ravindra Chavan, Ganpat Gaikwad, MNS MLA Raju Patil, Mayor Vinita Rano, Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi was also present. 

The Guardian Minister Shinde has instructed the Municipal Commissioner to consider this demand of re-imposing the lockdown in the city. Commissioner Suryavanshi stated after the meeting that a 10 to 15 day lockdown will be done in stages or at the same time in the city to curb the spread of the disease.
