COVID-19 Lockdown?: One decision will be taken for the whole state, says Ajit Pawar

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday called an all-party meeting via video conference to review the current COVID-19 situation in the state. This comes a day after Maharashtra recorded 58,993 new COVID-19 cases, 45,391 recoveries, and 301 deaths.

After the meeting a decision will be taken for the whole state. And no separate announcemnet will be made for districts or regions said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar while talking to media in Baramati.

A Corona review meeting was held on Saturday (Dec. 10) at Baramati after which he was seen interacting with the media. Pawar said that there is no shortage of injections in any of the state government hospitals. There is a shortage in private hospitals. There are a few reasons behind that which was also discussed in the meeting. A meeting will be held in Pune today on how to implement measures in this regard in the district.

Pawar further said that the Chief Minister has called an all-party meeting where will be discussing the vaccine shortage issue aswell. The traders have also demanded that the shops be reopened from Monday which will also be discussed. The decision will be announced tonight or tomorrow.

He held a meeting in Baramati and reviewed the availability of injections, beds, vaccinations and ambulances. We want to prevent covid spread for which we have also announced some restrictions. The police administration should make sure that citizens are following covid rules.
