A severe spike in COVID-19 cases in Mumbai and persistent talk of a "complete lockdown" there to tackle it has led to a lot of speculations. Mr Thackeray, on Sunday, had hinted at re-imposition of lockdown in the state to control the spread of virus. Now,  Kangana Ranaut has shared her views on the lockdown. The Queen actress took to micro-blogging site Twitter and asked about the current lockdown scenario. She also mentioned that no one in the state is apparently willing to make a decisive decision. “Can anyone tell me if Maharashtra has a lockdown? Semi lockdown? Fluid or fake lockdown? What is going on here? No one seems to be wanting to make decisive decisions. Changu Mangu gang fighting with existential crisis To be or not to be while every moment hanging like a sword,” Kangana had tweeted.

It's been a year since India enforced one of the world's harshest lockdowns to ensure Covid protocols are strictly followed. Thousands of migrants in the cities were left jobless and helpless; they started travelling to their villages on foot and many of them died. As India sees a rise in cases once again, restrictions have returned in many parts of the country. Maharashtra, which has logged the highest number of cases in the country since the start of the pandemic,  has recorded the biggest surge in daily cases over the last few days. The state has imposed a night curfew for now. Talking about Kangana, the actress has been making the headlines for her upcoming movie Thalaivi which happens to be a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Ministar J Jayalalithaa. The movie, which was slated to hit the screens on April 23, has been postponed due to the pandemic situation.
