Pune COVID-19 Lockdown: Night curfew imposed; Check out what will remain open and closed

On Thursday, Pune district reported 8,011 fresh COVID19 cases, 5,017 recoveries and 65 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the total cases touched 5,42,422 including 4,67,714 total recoveries, 64,838 active cases and 10,039 deaths.

Pune district guardian minister Ajit Pawar held a meeting today to review the covid situation in the district. Although the lockdown has been avoided in Pune cities, it has been decided to impose more restrictions.

Check out what will remain open and what will remain closed:

  • All restaurants, bars, eateries will be closed for the next seven days but home delivery will continue. 
  • Malls, cinema halls, PMPML bus service, religious places will also remain closed for the next seven days.
  • The weekly markets will be also closed. 
  • At Mandai, social distancing will have to be maintained. 
  • Except marriage (50 people) and funeral (20 people), all other programs have been canceled. 
  • The curfew will be imposed from 6 pm to 6 am except for medical emergency and essential services for the next seven days. 
  • Also, during day time not more than five people can gather at a place
