Coronavirus: 62-year-old recovers after being infected with Delta Plus variant

A 62-year-old man from Odisha was infected with the Delta Plus variant. He has has now fully recovered from covid.

The patient revisited his experience of how he recovered from the Delta Plus variant. According to the information received, the patient, who lives in Barkot block of Devgad, had recovered from covid within a month. He remained at home after being infected with corona. "I followed all the doctor's instructions properly. It helped me recover quickly. On April 23, I started experiencing body aches and flu-like symptoms," the patient said.

"After testing for covid on April 26, I found out that I had a Delta Plus variant infection. Earlier, I had also taken the first dose of the Covishield vaccine on March 30. It took me 20 to 25 days to get rid of covid. Best part was i didnt need any hospitalization, he said. On the other hand, according to MK Upadhyay, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Devgad, a total of 81 people were infected with the covid between April 10 and April 30 in the village of the 62-year-old corona patient.

The 62-year-old was found to be infected with the Delta Plus variant of the Corona. The Central Government has shown that this variant is a matter of concern.
