Coronavirus in India: JP Nadda won't celebrate Holi nor organize Holi Milan

More than 87000 people infected as outbreak spreads around the world. Globally, more than 2,900 people have died from the fast-moving virus that appears to have originated in China in December.

This deadly virus has entered India and more than 21 cases have been tested positive.

Amid the virus outbreak BJP President JP Nadda said that,"The world is battling COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus. The countries & medical fraternity are jointly making efforts to contain its spread. Keeping this in mind, this year, I will neither celebrate Holi nor organise Holi Milan. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy."

 

As per reports, as of now 438 persons in India have been suspected to be infected, of which 225 have completed 28 days of surveillance and 189 are still under observation. As per an official record, over 89 people have been kept in isolation. Out of which 118 tested, 103 have been found negative and results of 14 are awaited. On the wake of the outbreak on India Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that he will not be attending any Holi Milan events.
