Hanuman Jayanti 2020: Celebs who essayed the role of Hanuman in films and televison

Dara Singh was the first actor to play Hanuman on television the late actor till date remains the most popular star to have essayed that character. He played the role of Hanuman in Ramayan, Bajrangi, Mahabharat and Lav Kush.

Dara Singh's son Vindoo Dara Singh just like his father has played the character of Hanuman in films and in television. The Big Boss winner has essayed the role in serials like Vishnu Puraan, Bhagwatam, Jai Maa and Vaishnov Devi.

Danish Akhtar played the role of Hanuman in TV show Siya Ke Ram where he was trained by the Great Khali. He trained for 6 hours in the ring to get a perfect physique and also took three hours to get into the Hanuman look.

Nirbhay Wadhwa played the role of Hanuman in TV show ‘Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman’. The 28-year-old hails from Jaipur and was a part of several print and TV ads before getting into acting.
