After death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the name Sandeep Singh has suddenlt popped up. But very few people know who Sandeep Singh is. After Sushant's death, Sandeep Singh was seen in photos at his funeral and at Cooper Hospital.

Who is Sandeep Singh? According to call details, he did not call Sushant for a year. Yet he was handling everything and organizing all the funeral formalities at the late actors death. How did Sanjay Leela Bhansali trusted Sandip Ssingh, who started as an ice-cream seller became the filmmaker's trusted man and went on to make a film on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sandip Ssingh originally hails from Muzzafarpur in Bihar but he grew up in a middle-class family in Mira Road, Mumbai. He has a mother and a sister in his family. Sandip sold ice-cream at Marine Drive and took tuitions to complete his studies.

Sandip Ssingh aspired to be a journalist. So, he worked in various magazines and media houses. He couldn't do anything big but kept trying. He is eloquent. He tasted success for the first time when he worked at a radio station.

While working at various radio stations, he made friends with many Bollywood celebrities. And one such relationship was with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He got associated with Bhansali during the making of Saawariya (2007 film) and became his friend and confidant.

Bhansali was so impressed by him that he even made him the CEO of his company. During this time, Sandip made six films and one television show, which includes Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Rowdy Rathore, Gabbar Is Back, Mary Kom and TV show Saraswatichandra.

In 2015, Sandip Ssingh left Bhansali's company and became a producer himself. He started a production company with the name Legend Global Studio and made films like Aligarh, Bhoomi, Sarbjit and PM Narendra Modi.

According to reports, in 2018 Sandip Ssingh's name was also involved in a sex scandal. He was accused of sexually molesting a minor boy from Switzerland in Mauritius.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were Sandip's friends. After the couple parted ways, Sandip was seen with Ankita but never with Sushant.

After Sushant's death, he was seen getting involved in everything, be it the actor's cremation or bringing Ankita Lokhande to Sushant's flat.

He was seen with Sushant's sister Meetu but recently the family revealed that they don't know him. After Sushant's death, Sandip shared the poster of his film Vande Bharatam that he was planning with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Along with being a producer, Sandip Ssingh is also friends with many Bollywood celebrities, which includes Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Vivek Oberoi and Ankita Lokhande. His social media has pictures of him with many stars.

During 2018 elections, Sandip Ssingh made a film on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The film, starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role, was embroiled in controversy.

Sandip Ssingh had organised Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral. He was also the one to call the ambulance that took Sushant's body to Cooper hospital. He was reportedly one of the first people to reach Sushant's house after his death.

Sandip was even involved in getting Sushant's family to Mumbai with the help of Mahesh Shetty, Sushant's friend.

Sandip Singh's Dubai travel is also being associated with Sushant's death. BJP MP Subramanian Swamy gave information on Sandip's Dubai connection on Twitter.
