Ukrainian-born actor-model Olga Kurylenko on Instagram revealed that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor, best known for starring in 2008’s James Bond film Quantum of Solace and 2013’s sci-fi movie Oblivion, took to social media and share her diagnosis. Kurylenko, 40, said she had been ill for “almost a week”.

Actor Tom Hanks announced on instagram that he has tested positive for Coronavirus and that his wife Rita Wilson too has been diagnosed with the same. In a lengthy post the 63-year-old actor revealed that he and his wife were down with fever during their Australia stay, where is set to shoot for his next film based on the life of Elvis Presley. His post was soon flooded with concerned celebrities commenting ‘get well soon’ and wishing the couple a speedy recovery.

Rudy Gobert on wednesday was tested positive for coronavirus. The 27-year-old athlete was reportedly in Oklahoma City but wasn't present at the arena for the game. Following the news, both teams were quarantined in Chesapeake Energy Arena. The City Thunder players left, however the Jazz players remained in the arena until testing results were finalized. After Gobert's diagnosis was announced, a video from Monday surfaced of the athlete mocking coronavirus precautions by rubbing the microphones at a press conference. His teammates have also suggested that Gobert was "careless in the locker room" and had been "touching other players and their belongings" prior to finding out he has COVID-19.

Donovan Mitchell became the second NBA player to have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The diagnosis was confirmed by the player and the league announced that it has suspended the current season after the two players were reported positive. It is not yet clear from were he contracted the disease but sources revealed that Mitchell visited Encore Boston Casino last week a place where a guest tested positive for the virus.

Italian football club Juventus announced on Wednesday that one of its players, defender Daniele Rugani, has tested positive for coronavirus. Rugani, who also plays for the Italian national team, is the first player in the country's top football league to test positive for the virus. Shortly after Juventus' announcement, Inter Milan released a statement saying the club had decided to suspend "all competitive activities" until further notice. Star player Cristiano Ronaldo was forced into quarantine after after Rugani was diagnosed with coronavirus. The duo played together in their recent game against Inter Milan in Serie A.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife Sophia Gregoire Trudeau, was tested positive for Covid-19 after she showed flu-like symptoms upon return from the UK. A statement put out by the Trudeau's office said that Sophie will "remain in isolation for the time being." She is feeling well, taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild," it said adding that health care professionals will "reach out to those who have been in contact with Mrs. Gregoire Trudeau as they deem necessary." Though self-quarantining himself, the prime minister will spend his day in briefings, phone calls and virtual meetings from home, including speaking with other world leaders and joining a special cabinet committee discussion on the coronavirus.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta was tested positive for coronavirus. The team personnel, who had recent contact with Arteta, will self-isolate in line with the required procedures.The head coach expressed regret over the fact that he had been infected with the coronavirus. Arsenal's head of football Raul Sanllehi expressed full support for the head coach and the first-team squad."Mikel and the full first-team squad, players and staff, will be fully supported, and we look forward to getting back to training and playing as soon as medical advice allows. Obviously Mikel's full recovery is the priority now for us all," Sanllehi said.

England's football club Chelsea FC has confirmed that its player Callum Hudson-Odoi has tested positive for coronavirus. The club has also said that the personnel who had recent close contact with the player in the men's team building will now self-isolate in line with UK's health guidelines. Callum had displayed symptoms similar to a mild cold on Monday morning and had not been at the training ground since then as a precaution.
