Sandalwood Drug Case: Lesser known facts about actress Ragini Dwivedi who was arrested in drug case

he Central Crime Branch (CCB) is conducting raids at Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi's house in connection to the ongoing Sandalwood drug racket case.

The raids began at 6.30 am today with six male cops and a female cop. Ragini was summoned by the CCB on September 3, but the actress had sent her advocates to appear before the officers.

In an Instagram post, she also wrote that she received the summon at a short notice, which is why she couldn't appear.

The CCB officers have taken Ragini Dwivedi to the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for interrogation.Ragini Dwivedi was present at her house in Bengaluru during. She had changed her mobile phone yesterday and hence the CCB approached the court for the search warrant. The court granted the warrant and the raids began on the morning of September 4.

In one of the accused's diary, nearly 15 names of celebrities from the Kannada film industry have been mentioned.A few days ago, Ragini's friend Ravi was arrested by the cops. After interrogating Ravi, the CCB officials received information regarding the Kannada actress's involvement in the drug case.

For the unversed, Ragini Dwivedi, was the runner-up of the 2008 Femina Miss India contest and won the Richfeel Femina Miss Beautiful Hair award at the 2009 Pantaloons Femina Miss India contest.
