The novel coronavirus is spreading like wildfire in the country and the number of new patients is increasing day by day even though the overseas method of sending home patients with less symptoms has been introduced.

Corona's figures have caused the sand under the government's feet to slip. Initially two months ago, after doing 1, then 2, 3, yesterday, on Sunday, as many as 5,000 patients were found on the same day. Although it has taken time compared to other countries to increase this number, it is heartbreaking.

Now Union leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, medical officials have said they have to learn to live with coronavirus.

With the discovery of a record 5005 patients on Sunday, the total number of coronavirus patients in the country has reached 96,000.

At present a total of 96169 positive patients have been found. If the figures increase today as they did yesterday, today or tomorrow this number will go straight to lakhs.

In United States, the coronavirus infections climbed past 1,00,000, with more than 1,600 dead. Meanwhile in Britain, Prime Minister Boris Johnson became the first major world leader to test positive.

On Saturday, 4,885 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. Earlier, 3787 patients were found on Friday which was quite shocking.

Because these figures put us ahead of China. Given this overall growing figure, today or tomorrow the country is going to have millions of coronavirus patients.

The number of new cases has not gone below 3500 in the last eight days. As a result, if the same number of patients are found again today, the number of patients will cross the 1 lakh mark tomorrow.

If around 4,000 patients are found today, the 1 lakh mark will be crossed today. Importantly, Lockdown 4 has started across the country from today.

Till date, 96169 patients have been found in the country but 36823 patients have been discharged with 3029 patients reported to be dead.

At present, a total of 56316 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment in the country. Only 2% of these patients are on ventilators.

Mumbai has been hit the hardest.Mumbai and Maharashtra account for about 30 to 40 per cent of the country's patients.
