India plans to implement new airport rules post coronavirus lockdown

Although the airline in India is currently temporarily closed, it will resume the operations soon. But before that, there will be a lot of changes in the structure of the airport.

Considering the social distancing, the airlines are going to make such changes in the seating arrangement.

Social gaps will be maintained in seating arrangements at airports to comply with central government regulations.

There will also be some notice boards at airports that will have important message on it. For example, Help prevent the spread of coronavirus on those notice boards, wash hands with soap and use sanitizer, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth, apply face mask and cough

Passengers will also be advised to maintain a social distance of two meters or six feet to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

The airport administration will taken precautionary measures to maintain social distance of 2 meters or 6 feet in each seating arrangement and queue at the airport.

Air travel can cost three times as much. Considering the social distance, only one passenger will sit in a row of three passengers, the other passenger will sit in the back seat.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has drawn up a plan for resuming the flight operations.

The government will start work regularly after the lockdown, during these new rules will be implemented.

Air travel in the early weeks after the lockdown will not get much response. Therefore, there will be no problem in maintaining a distance of two meters at Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and other airports.

The financial position of Indian airlines is deteriorating. No other airline except Indigo has more cash reserves.

Changes can be made to accommodate only 60 passengers in seats with a capacity of 180 passengers.

Airlines can charge one and a half to three times as much to cover this loss

In this regard, a senior official said, "Over time, the rules of social distance will be relaxed once the coronavirus cases are reduced."
