Coronavirus Lockdown 4.0: What to expect from May 18

The lockdown is being implemented across the country due to the coronavirus. Two stages have passed and now the third stage (Lockdown 3.0) is coming to an end.

The fourth phase of Lockdown 4.0 will start on Monday. It is hoped that many states will get more concessions in this phase.

While most states are in favour of all restrictions on all e-commerce activities to go, governments have called for construction activities to be allowed in municipal areas with strict social distancing guidelines.

Also the distribution of essential items can start. In such a situation, the citizens are curious about what relaxations their state will get.

The State of Andhra Pradesh has sent a proposal to the Center to start all financial and public undertakings in non-containment zones. So far more than 2100 cases of corona virus have been found here. About 11,500 people have been segregated.

Addressing the media, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he had received a response from the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi want some economic movement in the transition zone as well.

In Lockdown 4.0, the Gujarat government wants all financial transactions to start in all the urban centers there. Many corona cases have been reported in cities like Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara. Ahmedabad in Gujarat alone has 70 per cent cases.

Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha have different plans for Lockdown 4.0. The governments here have demanded that everything be shut down completely and no concessions should be made.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has also said that relaxations cannot be given in such a situation in the state. Also, strict security measures will have to be taken. He told PM Modi at the meeting that there should be strict lockdown in our state, I am sure curfew will be enforced.
