Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an extension of India's Coronavirus lockdown until May 3, as he addressed the nation on Tuesday.

All passenger train services on Indian Railways shall continue to remain suspended till the 2400 hrs of 3rd May, the Railways said.

Premium trains, Mail/Express trains, Passenger trains, Suburban Trains, Kolkata Metro Rail, Konkan Railway etc shall continue to remain suspended till the 2400 hrs of 3rd May, the Railways said.

International and domestic flight operations have been suspended till May 3, 2020.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted right after his address to nation urging people to follow the lockdown till May 3 with utmost faith.

In his speech to the nation on COVID-19 crisis in the country said that areas with no hotspots will get conditional relief from April 20. The 19-day extension of the lockdown is an attempt to stem the further spread of novel coronavirus across the country.
