Alka Rai is an Indian politician who is associated with the Bhartiya Janta Party. Alka Rai contested the Uttar Pradesh assembly election held in 2017. She got elected from the Mohammadabad assembly constituency. She defeated Ex. MLA Shibgatullah Ansari with a margin of more than one lakh votes.Her husband Krishnanand Rai was allegedly murdered by shooters hired by Mukhtar Ansari.
