While very few vendors wore masks, the proportion was a little higher among consumers. Just last week, the district collector held a meeting before going on vacation. In it, the Jadhavwadi Agricultural Produce Market Committee had expressed concern over the crowd for buying vegetables. It also directed the market committee to take measures to curb congestion.
