The enthusiastic staff was all set to begin their day with Yoga exercises. The teachers were guided by the sports instructors Mrs Swati Bhalerao and Mrs Madhuri Bhagat. The session was specially curated by the sports department of the school to suit the theme for 2021- 'Yoga for Well-being'.The celebration kick-started with an introductory speech given by Swati Ma'am highlighting the importance of Yoga in general and during the pandemic in particular. She also briefed the teachers about the yogasanas they would perform during the session. This was followed by guided body warming exercises to enable the staff to perform the Yogic postures easily and effectively.Nagpur District Yoga Association:Mmore than 100 yoga lovers and citizens participated in the yoga day programme organised by Nagpur District Yoga Association. Working president of Maharashtra Yoga Council Prakash Masurkar inaugurated the programme virtually in the presence of the president of Nagpur District Yoga Association Anil Mohgaonkar, Bhushhan Take, Sunil nilatkar, Sandesh Khare, Rajat Mohgaonkar, Abhijit Gode, Purva mire, Gandadhar Kadu and others.Abhijit Gode conducted the proceedings while Pooja Khadse proposed a vote of thanks.CP and Berar College: CP and Berar College celebrated International Yoga Day with lot of enthusiasm. The sports department, NS and juniost collegge jointly organised the programme virtually a theme 'Be with Yoga, Be at home' the students and teachers performed yoga at their home. Yoga trainer Nilesh Thakre performed the demonstration online under the guidance of principal Dr Milinnd Barhare,vice-principal Dr Jitendra Mahajan. HoD of sports Dr v Nishant Tipte conducted the proceedings.
