OLA Electric Scooter price slashed by 25000 in Maharashtra after EV subsidy live

On the occasion of Independence Day, Ola launched two variants of Ola Electric Scooter. However, it was priced at Rs 1.5 lakh. But now the subsidy from Maharashtra and the Center has gone live and the price of wet scooters has come down sharply.

The two variants, S1 and S1 Pro, were launched by Ola. The S1 was priced at Rs 99,999 and the Ola S1 Pro was priced at Rs 1,29,999. After the subsidy in Maharashtra, the company had announced the price at Rs 94,999 and Rs 1,24,999.

But the subsidy went live in Maharashtra two days ago and has directly benefited consumers. Ola has announced the new prices on the day of today's booking. Both the scooters will save customers around Rs 25,000.

The company had given a date of September 8 for final booking of wet scooters. But that was not possible for the company. Finally, due to technical difficulties, Ola had given the time again from 8 am on September 15.

This morning, Ola also sent a message to people who had booked for Rs 499 earlier. But when they click on that link, they get a message that Ola is still charging. I mean, Ola's website is down. Initially some were able to select the wet scooter color after going to the link.

Ola has launched Ola Financial Services (by Ola Financial Services (OFS)) for scooter borrowers. You can also pay in advance to purchase Ola S1. The company has partnered with IDFC First Bank, HDFC, and TATA Capital to get a wet scooter out of debt.

HDFC Bank is offering pre-approved loans to its customers in minutes. For this you have to use Ola and Ola Electric App. TATA Capital and IDFC First Bank will provide loans through digital KYC process. For this you need Aadhar card, PAN.
